A note on browser permissions
Your browser will ask for camera (and microphone, if enabled) permission the first time you press Start. That prompt comes from the browser itself, not from TapeDeck — we never see your camera feed, because it never leaves your device to begin with.
Recordings download as .webm. It plays natively in every modern browser; for older editing software that expects .mp4, you may need to convert it first.
